Conception | The New York Times

NYTimes | 2018 | Conception is a poignant series of six animated films delving into the multifaceted journey of motherhood. Rejecting a one-size-fits-all narrative, the series artfully presents diverse first-person experiences, capturing moments of love, regret, doubt, and resilience. In "When Having a Child Doesn’t Make You Happy," the narrator, Yael, bravely shares her personal story. Reflecting on her mother's battle with postpartum depression and her own fears as a mother, Yael's narrative resonates deeply with the complexities of maternal emotions.
