The Island | 2022 | Collaborating with film director Anca Damien and art director Gina Thorstensen, I contributed to the design of background elements and characters for Anca's film The Island. The background elements were then rendered in 3D, while the characters were brought to life in a fluid 2D style. This surreal comedy offers a fresh take on Robinson Crusoe, weaving current affairs into its visual poetry and symbolism. The Island is a vibrant, whimsical, and humorous musical fable.
