I'm an Emmy-nominated Director and Art Director with over 15 years of experience leading creative across animation, motion, advertising, and illustration. I've created work for clients including Google, Warby Parker, and The New York Times, and worked with with studios and agencies including BUCK, m ss ng p eces, Imaginary Forces, and Arts & Lettters.

I run projects from beginning to end. I create concepts and pitch campaign ideas, art-direct teams of animators and designers through production, stay hands-on in After Effects doing everything from motion design to compositing, and build presentations in Figma. I've led teams on tight commercial timelines and self-produced personal and client films from script to final mix.

I'm a clear communicator, calm under deadline pressure, and love working with creative people. I've sat on juries for the ADC Young Guns, Brooklyn Film Festival, and Society of Illustrators, and co-founded the Richmond Animation Festival, now in its fourth year. My work has been recognized by the ADC, D&AD, CLIO, Society of Illustrators, and American Illustration, and my films have screened at festivals around the world.

I'm also a working painter, currently exhibiting at Virginia MOCA and the VMFA, and a 2026–2027 VMFA Painting Fellow.

I'm based in Richmond, VA and open to freelance and full-time creative leadership roles in animation direction, art direction, and motion.
