Illustration System & Motion Design

Informatica's existing illustration library had grown inconsistent and visually dated, creating friction across the product experience. I began with a competitive audit, researching how similar enterprise tech companies were approaching illustration to identify opportunities and set a new direction.

From there I modernized and expanded the system significantly — updating 10 existing characters and creating 15 new ones, while refreshing 60+ spot illustrations and adding more. Throughout, I focused on consistency, clarity, and aligning the work with leadership's vision for the brand's future.

Beyond static illustration, I introduced subtle motion to key product moments including loading states, using Figma to bring the system to life. The motion was designed to feel calm and functional.

The work was received positively by stakeholders, reflecting a meaningful upgrade to the product's visual experience at scale.
