Antfood commissioned me to illustrate each month of MusicCal, a "phygital" birthday calendar that bridges print and digital. Rooted in the Dutch tradition of perpetual birthday calendars, the printed calendar pairs each month's illustration with a QR code linking to a generative music experience - one that composes a unique ambient piece for each listener based on their location, the date, the time of day, and the weather outside.

I illustrated all 12 months, keeping the work simple and expressive while representing the full range of friendships and families across Antfood's home cities - New York, Los Angeles, São Paulo, and Amsterdam. The project was recognized with an American Illustration 44 award.
