History of Tea for Yogi Tea

Commissioned by Freethink Media, I developed the visual style and animatic for Yogi Tea's first animated commercial. The film traced tea through history as a force for connection - from conversations with Lao Tzu on a mountaintop, to the revolutionary fervor of the Boston Tea Party, Nelson Mandela disarming an Afrikaner general over tea, suffragettes gathered in solidarity, a children's tea party, and Georgia O'Keeffe sipping tea while painting. The project reached the animatic phase before it was unfortunately cancelled.
