Videos 4 U: I Love You

This short film, directed by Bianca Giaver, tells the story of Maia and her boyfriend, who had been dating for eight years but had never said "I love you." For Valentine's Day, This American Life helped Maia make a video to finally say those words. I designed and animated some of the different ways to say “I love you” using simple shapes and a bold color palette.

The film was featured in the New York Times, selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and won a Webby in 2015.
