Created for TED-Ed's There's a Poem for That series, this animation brings Aracelis Girmay's poem to life through simple line drawings, glittery looping textures, and film footage from my travels in Rocky Mountain National Park. The visual language draws from children's drawings to capture the dreamy emotional weight of the poem. The film has been viewed over 242,000 times on TED-Ed and was featured by Stash Media.
